About
I studied Journalism and International Relations at Blanquerna – Universitat Ramon Llull in Barcelona, and spent most of those years trying to work out where the two met. The answer turned out to be communications: the discipline of understanding an audience, and knowing what will actually make them care.
Part of that education happened elsewhere. I spent a semester at St. John's University in New York, writing for Her Campus and reviewing Broadway from the front row — an experience that shaped how I think about culture, audiences, and the distance between a local story and an international one.
My work focuses on culture, luxury, beauty and entertainment — sectors that share a particular challenge. They sell something intangible: a fragrance, a heritage, ninety minutes in a theatre. The work is making that tangible enough for someone to want it, and clear enough for a journalist to write about it.
That instinct runs through everything I do: reporting for a newsroom, producing a podcast on Catalan musical theatre, supporting the international press during a papal visit, analysing crisis communications, or reading a musical as a way into something larger. Different formats, one reflex — find the story worth telling, and the people who'll want to hear it.
I'm based in Barcelona and work in Catalan, Spanish, English and French. I'm drawn to briefs that need more than a press release — brands and institutions with a story that hasn't been told properly yet.
